Please don't think of us as "citizens" - Citizens are subjects. American's aren't subjects, we're sovereigns. The government is subject to the people, not the other way around.

That's a great point, I couldn't agree more. Citizen is a convenient term but in no way do I owe allegiance to this or any other state. How about: disarm the state and let us be free sovereign individuals?
